New name KWD Nuclear Instruments
From October 2010 Wedholm Medical changed name to KWD Nuclear Instruments AB. Change in name occurs during keeping the same legal organisation number and same staff organisation.
The reason for change is to give our group of companies a clearer common identity. Our mother company already during at least 10 years had the name KWD Group AB.
For our company we also wish to profile our increased activities in the nuclear industry together with our medical sector mainly in radiation monitoring.

Neutron Monitor with Helium-3 counter
Published: 2009-04-03 01:04:00
Neutron Monitor 2222A He-3
A new version of the popular Neutron Monitor 2222A has been developed. New IATA air transport regulations make it impossible to transport present detector filled with BF-3 gas. Therefor Wedholm Medical in the future instead will use counters with He-3 gas.
Customers using 2222A today and experience problems with air companies to admit transportation may replace to He-3 counter. All mechanical dimensions for He-3 counters are identical to old detectors.
The only additional modification is that HV- supply must be modified from 2500 V to 1300 V. Also some minor electrical settings must be changed.
Please contact Olle Andersson for more information.
